(c) Do Government propose to consider the desirability of keeping the aforesaid enactments in force until normal conditions prevail at least and until this Assembly enacts some law to regulate the relations between landlords and tenants in the Delhi Province?
The Honourable Dr. B. R. Ambedkar: (a) Yes.
(b) I have not received any complaints recently.
(c) It is the intention of the government of India that rents should continue to be controlled in New Delhi and Delhi until normal conditions returns.

Neogy : Will the Honourable the Labour Member be pleased to state the number of public utility concerns owned by British and other non-Indian interests in India, indicating the amount of the capital involved in such concerns, and the policy of Government in the matter of acquiring these concerns on behalf of the State or Municipal or other statutory bodies in India ?
