Right to work, to education and to public assistance in certain cases.
Provision for just and humane conditions of work and maternity relief.
The State shall, within the limits of its economic capacity and development, make effective provision for securing the right to work, to education and to public assistance in case of unemployment, old age, sickness, disablement, and other cases of undeserved want.

Living wage, 34. The State shall endeavour to secure, by suit- 10 etc., for able legislation or economic organisation or in any workers other way, to all workers, industrial or otherwise, work, a living wage, conditions of work ensuring a decent standard of life and full enjoyment of leisure and social and cultural opportunities. 15
Uniform civil 35. The State shall endeavour to secure for the code for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory citizens. of India.
Provision for 36. Every citizen is entitled to free primary free primary education and the State shall endeavour to provide, 20 education. within a period of ten years from the commencement of this Constitution, for free and compulsory education for all children until they complete the age of fourteen years.
Promotion of 37.
