The discussion on the Hindu Code clause by clause was resumed from 14th December 1950. After prolonged debates, some clauses were cleared. Frustrated by the dilatory tactics of some of the members, Dr. Ambedkar submitted his resignation on 27th October
1951.
This Book contains the discussion in Parliament till the date of resignation by Dr. Ambedkar. The text of Dr. Ambedkar’s resignation and discussion thereon in Parliament is included in the next Volume i.e. Vol. No. 15 in this series.
