Paranjpe to the chair and heaping all sorts of honour on him, was also to please the local Kattars, with a view to blunt their persistent opposition to Mr. Kelkar's summum bonum of life, viz. Con-
gress Presidentship.
Such are our leaders and this is how they sacrifice the general good of their own countrymen, | mean the dumb millions for the pursuit of purely
personal ambition.

त्या समारंभासाठी मुंबईहून ता. ७ एप्रिलच्या रात्रीच्या गाडीने डॉ. आंबेडकर,
बापूसाहेब सहस्त्रबुद्धे, देवराव नाईक, द. वि. प्रधान, कद्रेकर, शिवतरकर, भंडारे
व भा. वि. प्रधान हे पुण्याला गेले. त्यांचा मुक्काम श्रीधरपंताच्या घरी (गायकवाड
वाडा) होता. रात्री संघ स्थापना, सहभोजन वगैरे कार्यक्रम झाले, श्रीधरपंतांच्या
पत्नी सौभाग्यवती शांताबाई यांनी दोन ब्राह्मण स्त्रियांच्या सहाय्याने सहभोजनाचा
