The Congress is of opinion that Indian Labour should be organised with a view to improve and promote their wel! being and secure to them their just rights, and also to prevent exploitation (1) of Indian Labour (2) of Indian resourcesly foreign agencies ; and that the All India Con- gress Committee should appoint a committee to take effective steps in that behalf.” |
नागपूर काँग्रेस (१९२०) ठराव ७व ८
' आपले न्याय्य हक्क मिळवून घेण्यासाठी आपल्या ट्रेड युनियन्स तर्फ हिंदी कामगारांनी जो लढा चालविलेला आहे त्याबद्दल ही काँग्रेस आपली पूर्ण सहानुभूती दर्शविते. शांतता व सुव्यवस्थेच्या खोट्या नावाखाली हिंदी कामगारांच्या जिवास काही किंमतच नाही. अशा प्रकारच्या पशुतुल्य धोरणाचा ती निषेध करते.
ह्या काँग्रेसचे असे मत आहे की, त्यांची स्थिती सुधारण्याकरिता त्यांना त्यांचे न्याय हक्क मिळवून घेण्याकरिता, आणि त्यांची पिळवणूक थांबविण्याकरिता व हिंदी साधनांचा परकीयांनी चालविलेला उपभोग थांबविण्याकरिता कामगारांची संघटना करणे जरूर आहे ; आणि ह्या औँ, इं. काँ. कमिटीने हे कार्य प्रभावीपणे करण्यासाठी एक समिती नेमावी.
या. ठरावाची अंमलबजावणी करण्याकरिता १९२२ साली गयेस जे काँग्रेसचे अधिवेशन भरले त्यात खालील आणखी एक ठराव पास करण्यात आला. त्याचाही इंग्रजी उतारा तर्जम्यासह खाली देत आहोत.
(1922) Gaya Congress Resolution No. XII —
Whereas this Congress is of opinion that Indian Labour should be organised with a view to improve and promote their well being and secure to them their just rights and also to prevent exploitation of Indian Labour and Indian resources, it is resolved that this congress while welcoming. the move made by All India Trade Union Congress and- Various Kisan Sabhas in organising the workers of India hereby appoints the following committee with power to co-opt, to assist the Executive Council of the All India Trade Union Congress for the orgnization of Indian Labour, both agricultural and industrial.
